Cousins by blood, brothers by history. Zael & Draque made their escape out of the hood together, and now set out to impact change through good music and unforgettable experiences. For Zael & Draque, they want people to enjoy life, live in the moment; with music serving as our beacon of hope. Above all, each track is a three-minute or so journey of euphoria that attempts to take the listener through their cerebral wordplay and mesmerizing hooks.

Inseparable since their upbringing in the Bronx, the cultural diversity of New York City shaped the pair’s music from a very young age. Growing up on the East Coast with Dominican heritage, they were exposed to a cultural melting pot of styles, and became deeply inspired by everything from Bangladeshi R&B to Japanese Rock to LatinX music. Freestyle battles were a major part of their initiation into music, an almost ritualistic afterschool experience that involved competitive street cyphers and allowed them to develop their chops.

While the duo do take influence across the spectrum of genres, they find themselves gravitating towards Reggaeton, where the pair spend the majority of their time composing. Regardless of genre, expect high-octane flows and witty wordplay from Zael & Draque. The pair moved across the country to Las Vegas, taking their music to the next logical phase in their journey. They recorded their first song in January 2019 the rest became history, as they say.

Their debut album, ‘Inicios’, is now out on all digital platforms. A euphonic blend of Reggaeton, R&B, Hip-Hop and Trap, this full-blown launch into the music industry perfectly encapsulates Zael & Draque’s versatility as artists. This album, along with the abundance of releases they have lined up, all encapsulate the many talents and heaps of potential that these two musicians hold.
